Catching up and tripping all over myself.
and found some yellow string on my rocket bench. I asked her how did she cut it, she tried 4 different pairs of scissors! Can anybody guess what she found? LOL!
We bought some scissors at Costco that had a lifetime warranty. When they were worn out from cutting Kevlar thread and string, we bought a few more. Eventually we had about a dozen, so my wife sent them in and the manufacturer did replace them.
Later, we got a call from someone who worked for the manufacturer asking how we managed to wear out so many sets of scissors. He wasn't accusing us of doing anything wrong. He was genuinely interested in how we had gone through so many of the scissors.
What's wrong with that? I do that pretty often, but I do have a set I refer to as the "probably shouldn't cut that with scissors" scissors.I've seen a co-worker cut sandpaper with scissors..

I'll have to try this.Actually, I've read that cutting sandpaper with scissors is a way to sharpen them, but I've never tried it myself.

And I've read that you can cut glass with scissors of you do it underwater to keep the shock and vibrations suppressed. Don't believe everything you read.
(I suppose if you hold the paper the right way and the scissors are really bad then they might end up less bad.)
