Yes, and worth noting that Amazon has the Fire 7 for $29.99 right now. Not a spectacular tablet but functional if you don't have a smartphone or want something to leave in your range box!

...though if you do, be sure to power it down. Leaving it asleep pulls the battery down fast enough that it would be dead in less than a week, I think, based on the first couple of days of having it around here.

I will also note that data download to the Fire 7 is MUCH slower than to my iOS devices, but considering the price point that’s not a big deal.

I’ve pulled the official iOS app down to my iPad (on which this is being typed) and it looks like it should.

The way I see it shipping is a wasted cost. I get no value out of it after the fact. The extra $17 gets me another altimeter which has value until I lose it or break it.
