Turns out Home Depot carries that company, but you need to order it on their website. Free pick up at store, save shipping.

Great find, I was not aware of that, and if I need more in the future, I know where to source it.

BTW another appealing thing about the Formufit products, and helps to fill the price vs. value gap, they are manufactured in the US! That is a win on many fronts. https://formufit.com/pages/made-in-the-usa

That is a great site! I think I will rebuild my launch pad with this stuff. The 3way connector is not easy to find at the big box store

So, I made a tripod from the Formufit stuff, changing from a quadpod. The legs are rather long (4') and splayed into a large radius, but I want to store my launch rods in them.

You couldn't do that with regular tubing from Home Depot. Do they sell a connector that would allow you to add removable bracing?
Bracing where? Between each leg in a horizontal triangle shape? Not sure of such a connector.

I am not too worried about this pad for LPR and MPR.

The long legs can cause a recoil problem when using larger motors. With my smaller PVC pads it amplified any induced launch rod whip. In the end I resorted to chains between the legs. Larger versions had a center column with an adjustable foot. Few examples some water rocket. Bit off topic so I will throw in my PVC rocket/scope holder. I used the fuzzy side of some stick on Velcro for the large diameter stuff. Smaller things I slip some pipe foam over it.

Happiness is when you finally find what you’ve been looking for. I went with the cheap and simple version. All straight pieces are 2” long and I still have plenty of left over piping. Had to use epoxy around the “X” pieces but it’s only $1.50 at the dollar store. All set now to order and build my biggest rocket yet.

Which rocket is this?!

I finally got around to making some PVC pipe rocket stands.

I like those! I may build a caddy with a handle to carry multiple rockets just for carrying out to the pad. I currently use a bin and just toss all the smaller ones in nose down, haha.
