Looking to do everything in Micro Rocketry was are doing with standard size model rockets my first attempts at staging were with two all time favorites the Warp-II and Hercules 2 stage.

Micro Hercules on the other hand had a Straight T2+ body/payload configuration using a slightly larger then T2+ clear Polyethylene payload tube.
I did use Basswood on the fins for both models and this has proven over time to be a good choice helping to keep the Hurcules fins from warping as it's full size brothers have over time.

Both models were tape together motor configs which proved over test flights to NOT be the most reliable method. through experiments with several configruations with and without ejection it was determined leaving the motors untaped increased the upper stage ignition reliablilty considerably. When these two models are replaced they will be slightly Upscaled to either T2++ or T3 main body tubing to allow Gap Stage Venting back thru the centering rings and perhaps a slight side vent holds at the stage joint.
Both are really fun flying models single or two staged.

I think you'll find that true in about half the galleries, mostly because of YOU!

In these cases, the index takes you to the first post of the gallery, whatever the manufacturer of the archetype. That means the oldest post. In cases where several companies have offered clones, upscales, etc. or even just a clone from parts and plans, the first post will also be the oldest in the thread. As subsequent offerings are made to the thread those index links will take you to the first post in the thread of the clone.

Example: Estes and Semroc both offered clones of the Centuri X-roc. The original post was for a scratch built clone from parts. The thread title would be "Centuri - X-rac Gallery" and the index entry for the Centuri X-roc would take you to the first post, the clone. Over time, an Estes and Semroc version would be posted in the thread. The thread still has the same name since Centuri was the archetype but indexing would be added for the Semroc and Estes birds. Those index entries would take you to the first example from that manufacturer. Supposing somebody every got around to posting an actual old Centuri, the original index entry would still stand because it was the oldest post.

It all makes sense to me, at least.

While I can't say I have an original for all my micro down scale... I'll Try to catch up with you on as many as I can, and the Micros are still coming LOL!!!!
Really wasn't watching how the kit names were being used.

Built this after having it for 20 years. I launched it once last summer loaded with Cs and almost lost it. Next time it is flown will be on a windless day and a streamer instead of a chute.

Successful launch of my Estes Hercules today after a refurb. This was my very first rocket back in 1983 - built it when I went to Space Camp at the Alabama Space and Rocket Center. Brought it home and promptly put it nose cone first into our barn's roof (no hole, although I still remember the look on my dad's face ). Found it in my box of rockets this summer and used SEMROC parts to refurbish it. Flew it single stage on an A8-3 today just to be safe . Hope to try both stages soon.

Added some decals to this rocket this week. I took the ones available online (oldrocketplans.com) and printed them in black and white on to decal paper. Even after using decal bonder, the ink faded a bit and in the end I liked the look. It kind of looks "old-school" or "antiqued". After 35+ years, I think I finally have this rocket completed like I want it
