(I'm also probably supposed to know what CATO means)
CATO, an acronym used in rocketry, for Catastrophe At Take Off—the catastrophic failure of a rocket engine.(Wikipedia)
Any tips for those of us yet to launch one?
Don't use an engine that's going to CATO.:D
Barumpbump.
Seriously, the C6 motor has not been prone to CATOs AFAIK.
But any motor can fail, some more than others. 24mm Es come to mind.

Painted and installed Mobius mounts on both of my booster sections.

NFPA 1123, 1124, 1125 First Draft meeting. Two more days possibly. I’ll update the special forum thread on the Tripoli Forum with the 1125 draft first revisions when I get time. Second meeting will be next year. These revisions go into the next version which could be accepted by the Standards Council late 2020 or possibly 2021.

Practicing 150 ft spot landing with 5 streamer rockets with 1/2 A6-2 for PUMPKIN CHUNKING rocketry comp, somewhere in this month or early Nov... Good temps today as-well as wind speeds...

Rounded fins of Cherokee-E, installed the motor mount with the forward end of the metal clip flattened. Will drill 'glue rivet' holes in the airframe in a minute. I might want to use a longer 24mm....

How long a motor are you looking to put in there? And how will you find the rocket later

Put some thinned Elmer's wood Filler on my Cherokee E. Stupid movers lost some of my rocket tools so I had to go out and get a new putty knife first.

Unboxed then washed parts...
At a quick glance that faux nozzle looks like a jigger.

I'm trying to print a leg for the Aero-Pad, which was a Fun Rockets product that never came out. It's one of my longer prints so far and certainly also the longest in length.

Sometimes I feel like I should apologize for Fun Rockets. I did not make the choice to have the antithetical RTF foam inflicted on those things. I also could live well with the quality problems tarnishing my reputation. Or having a break turn into something that came out of my hide.
