Any pictures of the “P8000?”

I’ve heard a lot about these motors (they were as close to a “consumer” P as one could get, correct?) however I’ve never seen or experienced one :/

Awesome job, team! It's looking great and I'm getting excited (terrified) to see it fly (again)!

Hmmm, those hex head bolts on the forward end of the motor weren't on the previous P8000. I wonder if that's part of the connection to the "real world" version.

You did great work rebuilding/finishing the fins, Eric. I was glad to be a small part of finishing the paint. Wish I could be there to see it fly. Take video for me?

This is a big ol rocket paired with some big ol motors! Two questions: any idea what day you plan to fly it and about what altitude are you expecting?

That looks awesome. Appears you had better weather than we had when painting the Mega Menace. That garage has seen a lot of overspray this Summer.

this evenings update.
not a lot to report.
Adrian can over again tonight (thank you So much) we got the sawhorses built to hold the rocket and got most of it fit together after a lot of sanding, there are a couple pieces that need a little more persuasion .
Here is a pic with it almost completely together

What a great-looking rocket!

Man I wish I could be out there at the away cells with you guys prepping my rocket for flight at LDRS.

Just know I’m rooting for you guys big time. It’s going to be exciting to watch your flight. You guys are busting it hard to get it done in time. Nice job!

Chuck C.

Not a lot to report today .
I spent a lot of time working on Wildman stuff making kits for the launch . Packin’ orders, unpacking incoming orders.
I did manage to make the o motor adapter rings and the P motor centering rings.

Looks like I won't be making it to LDRS this year due to family issues. Told Tim he could have my O 25000 for his booster, so I brought it to him at Bong this afternoon.

For those that have never seen one, I opened it up just to be sure, as it's been sitting in storage for 7 or 8 years.

Sitting on top of two P 8000's.

I think I see a little drool coming out...

I recognize that orange thrust ring! Awesome Alex; bummer you can't make it!

Every time we push the button we now we can lose our projects for a hundred different reasons.

Had to leave LDRS Saturday afternoon to go chase the now Cat 5 Dorian.

Would like to hear some insights into what happened as I'm always one to learn from others. I understand the "O" CATO'ed?

Is there any video?

Again my rocket can do the same thing as yours. It's the risks we all take. Condolences.

Chuck C.

Yeah I'm interested in hearing why the first stage cato'ed as well. What was the final altitude of the single P motor flight? That was unbelievable.
