I remember when they were lining us outside to march inside for college graduation and somebody started mooing. It caught on pretty fast and a lot of us were doing it. It really annoyed the people trying to line us up; so we kept doing it. Duh. We figured if they were treating us like cattle we should sound like it. We did stop before we got inside.

Was the keynote speaker Temple Grandin?

Or was it an architect? (Extra Credit: Apollo XI related)

Beefore I get roasted on this, please forgive me if I cattle on a bit. I just woke up. I stayed up well past when the cows came home. I should say that I don't really have a steak in whatever this is supposed to be about anyway.

Ovine.

The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (formerly Cook College) of Rutgers University holds an annual event called Celebration of Our Work (COW).

(Or, at least they did, as of quite some years ago.)

I've been pretty angry at the Red Cross for a long time... I was selling plasma to help keep myself afloat when I was told that I can't donate anymore. You see I lived in the UK back in the late 80s and early 90s. Due to their outbreak of mad cow, I'm now not eligible to in the US. Honestly... It's been nearly 30 years since I got back and I feel perfectly bovine.

This thread has a positively bucolic air about it.
Hay! At least it doesn't have a dairy air about it.

I used to work on my great-grandmother's ranch with my grandfather, and I visited my step-mother's family in Iowa... They ran a dairy farm. That smell? It's money (if you don't smell it, they ain't making money).
