Ok I just moved from Chattanooga TN to Jonesboro AR for Hytrol engineer job. I left my Tripoli binder back at my parents house. I have a electronic photo of my L1 sign off on a flash drive with me. Can I print it and use that for L2 cert or does it have to be the original form? I also brought my Tripoli L1 card.

If I need the original signed form I can always go drive 12 hours or ask family to mail it. I just feel real stupid right now.

Work with your TAPs. Paperwork is only one component. Should not be a problem.

I had to send mine to Netherlands for one L3 TAP signature. Didn't stop me flying L3 while I was waiting for it to return.

Do I need the original signed form or can I print the signed form from an electronic copy of it and have them simply sign it? That’s my only question.... Sorry I have a lot on my mind with moving.

Ask your parents to mail it you.

I think your asking about the tan paper Tripoli sent you. But I think all you need is your application and proof of current level.

Exactly this original tan form that is signed. I have my L1 membership card on me and an electronic photographic image of that tan form signed.

Andrew,
Im not sure I understand the problem. As long as you have your Tripoli ID showing that you’re L1, that’s all you need to attempt the L2 test. If you’ve taken the L2 test and passed, you need to show the paperwork showing that you passed the test before flying the L2 certification flight. A good picture of it should be sufficient.
Any Prefect or TAP should be able to help you.
How many HPR flights have you flown since your L1 certification?

Five flights. Just worried about a stupid binder with a signed form inside it in another state. Have not taken L2 written.

This signed form is what I left in another state.... Can I print it out electronically from this image and have them sign below after L2???

Or do I show my Tripoli L1 member card, print a new cert form out and have the TAP sign that for L2???

Or should I have family mail this binder and orginal form to me at new address? Sorry confused as f***.

That form is not required for your certification. I believe it's more like a trophy or plaque that you hang on the wall.

If you haven’t taken your L2 written, all you need is your L1 cert card. Really not sure what all the panic is about.

Just show your card and bring a certification form. That three cert form that you’re worried about is just for you. Many people don’t even bring it.
Relax; you’ll be fine!

As Steve said, your card showing your L1 is sufficient proof that you are L1. That signed tan form is purely for your use and is not the evidence of your certification level.

Photocopies of signed cert forms are acceptable to HQ; once you get your L2, if it's easier for you to email a photo of the signed form to HQ, that's totally acceptable. If you go that route, just hang onto the physical copy yourself, until you get a new card that shows your L2.

I looked up Hytrol and they make conveyor and material handling systems. Sounds interesting. In my last job before I retired I was QE for Shipping as well as a bunch of external customers. I soon learned that Shipping was one of the more complicated areas in the factory. Thank God we had really good low level managers back there and they rarely made mistakes. Lots of people thought it was sticking stuff in a box and ship it. That is until they went back there to help when things got busy. Since it was aerospace there were tons of customer and government requirements for anything that went into a box.

A well designed material handling system can make a company. A poor one can kill it. Good luck and have fun.
