Actually, a full moon is the bane of astronomers. The glare of the moon washes out observing other objects, especially deep space objects. I just checked the local sky chart and sure enough the full moon will be out. The supreme irony is that here locally the skies are clear for the first time in what seems like months of cloudy skies with rain and snow.
