I am planning on attending.
If I can get my LOC Goblin sprayed in primer by next Wednesday, it will have it's maiden fight there. Will also bring a few other MPR birds along. Maybe an LPR or two.
Also, I think I will prep the motors Thursday or Friday evening. I seem to waste too much time assembling motors on site....

I plan on making this one! It'll be my first launch of the year, since I missed the singular launch at Bong that hasn't been canceled from low clouds, high winds, blizzards, or snow/rain.
The forecast looks great right now, so let's hope it holds!

Yep. I almost always do this. No matter how far I travel to a launch.
I will be there and it will be nice to get to a launch where weather is not a problem.
I will not be at the April launch ,I will be at red glare .

Unfortunately not. 2 stage flew at QCRS a few weeks ago. Staging was perfect, but the tracker failed on the upper stage and it is lost somewhere. I’m going to the next launch there in 2 weeks to see if I can find it, now that the snow is gone.
Mostly I’m just flying some MPR stuff and will probably help out at LCO or RSO or whatever.

So like, warm sun and cold winds at Bong yesterday. But I had fun. Brought 5 rockets and only launched one, BlackFly to ~3.4K ft on an I245G.
And poor Tim! What an adventurous morning he had...
Last but not least, witnessed a spectacular "Star Burst" CATO. Totally reinforces the concept of "Safety First" with healthy doses of common sense and "Read all instructions carefully before assembly".

That was insane! I was out in the field recovering a rocket and it looked like an air raid.

There isn't video that I'm aware of, but it was SPECTACULAR. Mainly because it wasn't my rocket... 
The way each grain popped out of the rocket and lit was a pretty sight. Too bad the rocket didn't survive...

Yeah, that was mine...
Still don’t know what happened... I do know, 100%, that I had the motor assembled properly. Every single time, I lay out the sheet and use it as a checklist. Everything that should be lubed was lubed, seal disk was in proper place, caps were hand tight, no powder was added to the well until everything else was done, etc.
It was an I-327DM.
I don’t know how many grains were in there, since I didnt take them out of the liner, but there were at least 6 distinct grain pieces burning on the way down. Unfortunately, I lowered the camera after the “pop” and didn’t get the beautiful show that resulted.
Recovered most of the parts, but still missing the upper section of the 720 case. I’ll look again at the April 6 Tripoli launch.
