Mine was one of the first three kits ordered according Ken ...and ... one week later after last contact, still no email providing tracking.

I last heard from him on the 3rd via email. No tracking number yet either. The emails I have sent got replied to at least quickly. I am not looking to build mine immediately, just want to know when it may come. My 98 was ordered on the 15th.

Jim, I've been out of the loop for awhile ... who is this Curtis you mention?

Without going into full details... He is/ was a vendor that started making FG kits back around 2005 ish era. Some of his pre-paid promised kits never materialized. He still produces the fiberglass tubing as it seems.

I'm well aware of it, just pointing out that Ken is shipping what he can.
25 performer 98s is quite a bit to make. It would be nice if he would make more updates regarding the manufacturing if he has that information available. I'm willing to wait as long as it fabricates.

Ditto with Ben. I ordered early on the 14th, but am OK with waiting if it means a nice quality kit. Plenty of other items on the build pile in the meantime.

I expect to see Performance Hobbies this Satuday at MDRA. I ordered the performer with the Aeropack tail cone to give it that killer high performance look ( and to help Ken out with the incredible deep discount price). My fingers are crossed he’ll have mine with him.

Performer 98 ... Touchdown!

This AM ... and all parts close fit, natural color and complete.

Should make for a real nice L2/L3 build for my son. Now on to the needed hardware and ancillary parts plan stage.

Can anyone say ... Performer 98 build comparison thread? With 25 plus kits delivering in a close time frame it would make for a real interesting "how to" build and "compare" thread by many different builders. It would highlight different techniques and the thoughts along with the build processes. Eventually the thread could highlight the finished rockets and resulting flights over time.

A real rocket thread with common community builds ...

I am down for that once I receive my kit. Mine is pretty well planned out already as is has to be for my L3 documentation. Looking forward to hopefully getting my kit in a week or two, yours shipped quickly!

Anxiously waiting to hear from Ken about shipping of my kit.

It appears that mine will be delivered on 1/17 via Fedex.
It's last known location was GROVE CITY, OH.
