Field Locations

Hi all, I'm putting together a map of flying locations for CAR/ACF clubs across Canada. I've started with my neck of the woods (Prairies), and would like to get all the CAR/ACF clubs onto this map. Please share your field locations and preferred web/facebook site that I can link!

I want to start with only the CAR/ACF affiliate clubs. I know there are more groups/individuals flying, and I may add them later in a different colour or something, but first the affiliate clubs please. Thanks!

Thanks. I've got Quebec in now thanks to a user on TRF, just waiting for some details from New Brunswick.

For the rest, I'm finding there are a decent number of clubs existing that are either non-affiliated or under NAR/TRA/MAAC.

Might have to do another map that shows them...

why not all on the same map, but different colours to denote the different organizations / affiliations?

Ok, as far as I know, these are the current active locations for rocketry in Canada. Should be pretty clear which are CAR/ACF affiliated. If anyone notes errors or omissions, please contact me!


I think we have a couple holes to fill! I like the thread started by Tyler for Canadian members, these tools may be helpful for people to make connections.

I would love to see CAR/ACF grow, particularly as people find and gain permission to use new launch sites!

Nope, I'll let them do their own. Actually I think TRA has a decent one on their website. This is another tool for any Canadians who come across TRF to have a visual I guess. Sure wish there were more...there has to be some decent launch site territory in Saskatchewan and Manitoba...

No kidding. It's flat, with a lack of trees for the most part!

The Westshore Rocketry group meets at Allandale - part of the WildCat trail.

The marker right now points to Carren Road which needs to reflect Allandale quarry location instead.
