Was the AT DMS motors on sale? The sale said reloads so I was thinking no?

I don't believe they were on sale, I did not see any single use on sale. Hoping they will be on Sat., need some.

Edit: Guess I missed them then, just looked at the announcement/ad page nothing listed there as far as DMS goes.

Well, the deals, as expected. Were too good to pass up. I had no intention on buying a kit but when I got home from work at 620pm and checked the email. Seeing the Gizmo XL DD at $350 and the Demon5 at $299, I knew I was in for a struggle. It was a hard decision but ultimately not having 98mm hardware (yet) was the deciding factor. I told myself "But Brian, you know most certainly the Saturday sale will have deep discounts on hardware like in years past!!" I had to ignore that devil on my shoulder though, for now at least. Next year, might be a different story.

The Demon 5" just looked wayyyy too good to pass up though. Then of course, buying that meant I had to buy some loads for it. Wanted to grab an M2200G but alas, not until my L3 is complete.

Same here. I couldn't find the I284W. So I just bought 36 other motors instead.

Yeah, I just replaced them with a mix of J350's and I161's, but really would have liked the 38/600. I don't think I totaled 36...just 24

I pulled the trigger on the Lance Beta! It should look great with a set of NCR styling from sticker shock.

It not clear to me if the kit comes with bulk plates for an avionics bay like the ones in the picture.

Me too... We'll find out. We discussed the kit last week. He was leaning towards the Punisher design (one long BT with HED). He can't slot over 30". So to make the dado slots for upper fins, he had to cut the body tube into two pieces. And since it's 54mm mmt, he made an AV bay.

Exactly right - both were on sale, though DMS's were discounted -35% inline with all reloads (even for White Lighting DMS's), while regular White Lighting reloads were at -40%.

Hack of a deal for both, if you ask me.

No need to worry if you missed Wednesday sale, - the Saturday follow-up will be even better (judging by last year's experience). I'm certainly planning to come back for seconds tomorrow...

I am guessing 75mm MD airframe (Mach 2 was 54mm MD).

That's not always the case. Some years, there are a few kits or combo specials that have been limited to a set number.
Last two years, CTI motors were limited to stock on hand or what he had ordered already. Two years ago all LOC kits were limited to stock on hand. He's also done limited runs on some special versions of Wildman kits. What I do is set an alarm 10 minutes before the sale, read the email from Tim and see if there's anything I have to order right then. If not, I can go back to sleep for a couple hours. But I agree with others: Being on the West coast is challenging for this one (although it works great for the Wednesday Sale!).
