Come up to Midwest Power in Illinois at the beginning of November :) I can help you get some...
Shoot, I can barely get off work to fly locally. One day I will be able to travel to some events, but not in the near future.

Timed a lane at my son's swim meet. Then started tearing out my old pergola in preparation for a complete backyard redo...a project suffering from serious mission creep. On a related note, I got the first bid from the pool re-modelers today.

Beautiful day at the local RC field, but a bit windy.
Field maintenance and a club BBQ.
Checked out the nearby pond for future float plane flying.

Wife says I have too many hobbies....she's probably right.

I’ve ridden on a float plane once - out to Isle Royale. I’ve long thought RC float planes would be cool.

When I booked my honeymoon in St. John/The Virgin Islands, I got us a day trip to St. Croix on an old Grumman Mallard...was a bit crazy back then, now that I think about all the air time those old planes had. But it was really cool, floating past the catamarans in the bay while we got ready to take off.

Attended Franklin County Cider Days in western Massachusetts. I think it’s the oldest such festival in the US.

Here’s a pic from Shelburne Falls.

Installed a new modelling bench that my Father in Law built for me. The original was a desk and table covered with plywood pieces. Worked fine but it is in the corner of the family room.

The new model bench installed and ready for all the tools etc.

Break in a Saito 125... View attachment 366575
Nice - I've never had a four stroker. I love the sound of them.
Years ago I bought an OS 70 Surpass on Ebay...it was locked up and needed to be rebuilt - working now, thinking about putting it in a 1/2 finished Sig Kadet Sr. that I got at an estate sale.

I'd like to put a big prop on it and fly it around like this......
