Hurray for found rockets! Especially ones own.

I don’t think you can use the G138 for a cert flight. It may be HPR (>80N), but I think the cert procedure specifies it has to be an H-I for L1.

Yeppers. Has to be an H. Use a H128 in a 29/180 case, or a H123 in a 38/240 case. Or use a H DMS motor.
Good luck!

Oooops. Okay. I'll save the G138T for a post cert flight... Yipeee, now I have an excuse to buy more motors... :p

I recognize that saucer! Thanks for finding it and I really appreciate you bringing it back!!!! The H45 started chuffing on the pad and barely made it off the rod. It took a hard left into the woods as it came up to speed- I think it was looking for Adrian...
I never thought I'd need a tracker on a saucer, but this one had a mind of it's own!

Now I'm really glad I had other plans for Sunday... :p:p

Anybody have pictures or know where I could find some? Specifically of Saturday 22nd.

Thanks

Kevin will likely post on TWA site shortly. He usually does after a monthly launch. Are you looking fore something specific?

I assume that was the gentleman with the professional looking camera. And I suppose I was just looking to see my launch. I'm pretty sure he captured it. Thank you for the reply.

Yes that was him and a great guy. Once he does post and if you still don’t see a photo, reach out to him and see if he has others that might be yours. He doesn’t always post every one he took.

Did you end up finding your green/silver rocket off to the southeast?
Lol YES I DID!! It was beyond the trees on a farm feild. I thought my receiver was acting up but then I saw the guy who owns the farm driving a little off road golf cart looking vehicle. He had found my rocket and loaded it on to the back of his vehicle! It was quite an adventure haha

You are very welcome. Glad I found it!

Raw curiosity... About how far was it from the launch pad? Just for my future reference when I put one that far, I'll have an idea of how far that was. LoL! I've been North, South, and West of the pads at Bong, but never that direction.

My best guess is below...

Your flight followed the path of mine to the point of me thinking you would find mine first. Based on where I located mine I would put yours touching down near the X. Mine was in the swamp inside the horse trail close to the soybean field. That would have put yours near the small trees and the access road just to the east south east.

No certainty on that but they descended on almost the exact same line.

Not sure if my photo will show or not. Says it’s locked and I don’t have permission to view it so.

West of your point across the green field in the brown rectangles next to the green tree line dividing those areas. Probably close to 1/4 mile if not a bit more west.
