So, who’s going and what’s flying?

Also, I’ve always flown Cesaroni motors but have a bunch of AeroTech mid powers I would like to burn up. I’ve never assembled one and seeing that I have not flown since my L2 (long story) was looking for a little mentoring on them.

Was thinking of
Mini-Tomach
Formula 54
4” Tembo
2.6” Darkstar Jr
4” Frenzy

Which AT motors are you flying?

I'll be there that Saturday. Flying some EX stuff, but not sure what yet.

Hobbyline 29/40-120 stuff. At work so don’t remember specifics. Got them to fly around new home but life has gotten in the way.

I can show you how to do those (as can probably a lot of people). Make sure you get some super lube either from harbor freight or Tim.

Is that a brand name? Sorry, ignorance due to the simplicity of Cesaroni motor usage. Does it come in small containers? Can’t imagine I need much.

Thanks,

Brad

1 more for the year eh? Maybe I can get my L3 out of the way yet. If I can find time to paint it...

I'm partial to paint, but not needed. Half the L3's I RSO'd at Airfest were flown "naked."

I've had my L3 rocket built for over a year..It's flown twice, and has yet to be painted. Maybe I'll paint it for MWP this year?

Well, I flew my L3 rocket at Airfest nekid. It's been built for 3 years and still no paint. Maybe someday...

Adrian, you flew more Newton’s at Airfest than you’ve flown since I’ve know you. It was good to see you getting some big flights in. Glad to see you got stung by the Airfest Bug.

Couldn't agree more. Everytime I heard Adrian's name it was an L or more, and I heard his name a lot. Great job Jd2cylman!

Thanks... And I'm out of motors... :D:D
Well, I do have one AT M1939W left for the next Airfest/LDRS. Oh, and a couple of L's I got from CJ.
I might have to switch to this EX stuff yous guys talk about.

For the record, the smallest motor I flew was a AT L900DM in the Punisher 4X4. The first flight was a AT M1550R in the Interceptor 98. Then Saturday morning(ish...), my L3 on my first N, a AT N3300R. Then I finished the week with a CTI L1355SS in my Wild Thing Extreme. Lowest flight was the N at 9900' ish.
The highest was the interceptor on the M at 12,000' ish. Why yes, I keep detailed records of my flights...:oops:

So can I expect to see the middle of the alphabet being used at Bong in a couple of weeks by you guys then? Griffin, going to be there? I assume but maybe incorrectly both Nobles will be there. Jd2clyman???

Forecast is looking good.. I hopefully should fly:

Swamp Monster on a J250 pitch black EX motor
Either wildman bullseye or vindicator jr on I300 red sparky EX motor
4" Punisher on K960 Alumaflame EX motor.

Can only make it up Sunday, but planning on getting in a few flights from the low end of the alphabet... Rocket budget is pretty tapped out this year preparing for my L3 cert flight in November. I have a cool new saucer to go up on a long burn H, and a freshly painted Lil' Nuke that needs some dirt on it...

If I can make it out, I'll be flying the Demon 75-Five on it's maiden voyage... Motor to be determined based on conditions and availability.
