If you are talking about Camden SC, I'll be there with my long time friend LW Bercini. Leaving here around 1 PM tomorrow camping out at the Econolodge in Lugoff.

It's improved considerably. I've been watching it like a hawk. I missed last months launch because the improvements were so late. We bailed on what turned out to be a pretty decent weekend.

• Camdens "like a box of chocolates" ya never know what your gonna get!"
• Hotels at Lugoff are much less expensive than the Camden exit. Lugoff is exit right before coming from Columbia, about 10 miles back, there's Days Inn, Econolodge etc. Room under 100.00 ...more like 69.00-79.00 the 2-3 hotels at Camden exit are more like 129.00 to 189.00. of course they are nicer rooms.
• You may have got a great discount....more important to most of us is, the Hotels we use all have outside entry to each room. You can park in front of your door to carry stuff in. Very important is you are prepping a ton of stuff at night.
• Not important if showing up with all your stuff ready to go or you don't have your car loaded to the gills with rockets....lol
• The new ones at Camden have a single front entrance you must carry all your stuff through the lobby. I get funny looks when it takes 2 trips using a luggage carrier, rolling down halls with rockets overflowing off them
• Don't forget to bring everything in your excited state & expect to have just too much fun, we have a fantastic old club, with a great bunch of guys. There are several convince stores and food joints right by Comfort Inn to get your snacks/drinks for the launch.
• There is a Port o let on site.

Do you have your L-1 motors? I have some in case your in need, just Holla at me before 2 today I'm leaving for launch.

I have an H219T-14A DMS and a I1299N-P. I’d rather not fly the i1299 since that’s an aggressive motor.

If you have an Aerotech 38mm delay tool that works on DMS that may help. OR was showing chute opening at 25m/s with that 14s delay.

I do not, but ask around for Tom Binford...he's great for delay work on single use.
Just come knowing what delay you want.
How high do you expect?

Sim is showing 2,614 ft on 14 s with a chute warning. It then says the optimum delay is closer to 11s. I flew an I300T-14A and that delay was spot on at 5,400 ft predicted. So chute is opening after Apogee right now.

At hotel. Asked lady at front counter if any rules against rocket fuel. I told her inert. Showed her my Tripoli card and explained a rocket launch is tomorrow. She said as long as nothing blows up then smiled. Then they all laughed.

Rockets are inert. Motors are not. I would recommend leaving them in the Volvo.
