As of tonight's BoD meeting we are a go for Saturday July 14th, as long at the weather holds as forecast. Please check our forum page for last minute updates. This launch is to be a regular launch and the waiver will be called in. Please note that our waiver has been lowered (after having the same waiver for 7 years) from 10,000' AGL to 9300' AGL.

Is TCR still NAR only?

I may have to come up for a research hybrid exhibition flight if the TRA prefecture has gone through.

Not ruling out a commercial hybrid flight.

We are waiting to hear back from Tripoli as to our Prefecture application. It will not be in place by this weekend most likely. Our 4 day launch over Labor Day weekend (SodBlaster) will be a NAR and TRA event as OROC will be handling the EX and Tripoli stuff with us. Sodblaster also will be less impulse restricted (currently we restrict motors to L or below) only altitude restricted by our waiver.

I wish I could make it, Aerotech has still not sent me the 10 I-205 reloads I ordered in Feb, so only gliders to fly and that's a long haul for glider flights. Planning on the 4 day launch in Sep.

I was planning on making the drive out, but the wife is sick, so that leaves me on daughter duty this weekend. I was hoping to maiden the Aerobee, but I guess it will wait for Sodblaster!

Count me in as a TRA member as well... Received my membership packet yesterday!

The launch is a Go! Getting ready to head out there in a few minutes and get everything setup.
