Ellis vs AMW 75mm specs... are they compat?

I dont have access to my micrometer at the moment, so, i will just ask here.

I have a Gorilla 75/6000 and an Ellis 76/7000

From the outside, they look the same size, length, diam, etc., but without measuring I cant be sure.

Are they compatible with each other? The snap ring grooves, etc, even look the same.

I know the internals aren't (Ellis had nozzle holder, etc), but can I use the case as a "75/6000"?

The diameters are the same, you'll need to confirm the internal length. That said, the snap ring grooves in the Ellis motors are really narrow and a snug fit for off he shelf snap rings.

Because you asked in the HPR forum instead of the research/experimental forum I'll assume you also want to know if the Ellis case is certified for use with AMW reloads using AMW nozzle, bulkhead, washer, etc.

wow... yes they are, but easy enough to fix.

Yes, I will be using it CTi motors and also experimental. I just need to fly it at research launches, once those grooves are fixed.
