I need to clear a couple of kits from my build pile. UPS shipping will be charged at actual cost. If you are interested in either one, send me a PM with your address so that I can quote actual price including shipping. PayPal is preferred, but let me know if you have something else in mind. (I might also consider a fair trade for Loki hardware.)
I really don't want to unpack them just for photos of parts. They are new in the box kits.

5.38" LOC Phoenix EXP (BB-81) $100 + UPS shipping [SOLD]
This is still in the original box, which was opened only to ensure it was all there.
I have had this on my shelf too long, so someone else should build it.

8" MadCow Bruno XL, Cherry Red $299 + UPS Shipping [SOLD]
Also, new, in two boxes. While I really was looking forward to building this one, there are too many projects ahead of it and it's taking up shelf space.

Would Bruno big a good L3?

Why not, pretty easy build, should come in around 20lbs, got to use at least an "M" motor and depending which one you chose you're looking at 5,000' to 8,000'. You must use electronic deployment for L3, you do not have to go DD, but the Bruno is a great candidate for HED dual deploy. An Aeropack will make it easy to fly 76mm's also.

Agreed. Most people like to go low and slow with their L3. Personally, I went Mach 1 and 13,000 feet! This is a great L3 rocket if you are confident of your ability to recover it. You'll need lots of eyes on it, binoculars, a GPS tracking device, and a way to transport it back to the launch area from wherever it comes down.

Just a question. Is the 8" nose cone for the Bruno made with a remove able coupler. My 8" Gizmo had the old style gel coat nose cone that didn't fit very well at all.

Yes, the nose cone and coupler are two pieces, lending itself well to Head End Deployment. I also have the Gizmo, and know what you mean.

What is HED Dual Deploy?
The simplest way to describe it is that the main goes in the nose cone, and the nose cone coupler doubles as your AV bay. It works great.

If you do the following google search you will see many examples:

(Google's search works much better than the TRF's built-in search engine.)
