3" Carbon Tube

Alright guys lets see which one of you can beat Dave lol. No cut ends, but will cut it just around 58". That is after whether or not you guys want me to add the veil layer for another $35. Has some annoying gaps on the surface due to the shrink tape. Lesson learned not to use that tape ever again. I have another tape that works better.

Its only better in that it is more flexible. Thus making it easier to apply it to the tube. The surface finish should be clear of those gaps.

It is a 5 Harness Satin weave. Very neat fabric. Has a total of 3 wraps. OD is 3.127" and wall thickness is 0.055" give or take.

I forgot to mention that I cut one end to get wall thickness reading. I will cut the other end and the tube will be just over 59" long.

Okay guys so I found some bad things about the mandrel. The OD lands at 3.02" which makes nose cones CR's etc loose fitted.

I have no use for this tube so I am taking the price down to $50 plus shipping.

You will need to add lots of masking tape for nose cones and motor casings.

I will be getting a new mandrel with exact dimensions later on.
