Rock on, Mike! I always get excited when I see the words "NEW at MAC Performance Rocketry!"

Nice Mike! I agree John - I see "New at MAC I can't wait to read / see it

I met Mike at URRF and am impressed with him and the kits. Trying to find time to finish a custom Scorpion he made for me. Keep up the good work Mike!

Another great addition to an already awesome product line. My Rayzor and 3FNC will be ready for URRG the end of the month.

That's the size that I would think would be a good seller. 38/54mm tube size. I am thinking canisters that will hold 2 grams.
Thanks

If you have the space, I use two gram charges in 4 gram canons often. just pack it full of wadding.

And these nosecones? excellent.

Our new deployment charge canisters are now available at www.macperformancerocketry.com
These canisters hold up to 2.5gr. (canisters on the right hold 4.5gr.) They are 1" tall and have a 5/8" OD. With the included stainless steel hardware they weigh 9.2gr.

Our new 54mm airframe and components are ready!

The already popular Scorpion is now the first kit available in 54. It is a single deploy with 29 motor mount that weighs 24oz and flies on G thru I motors. The Zodiac in the same configuration will be available in the next week. These kits and the new Jolly Logic Chute Release will make a great combination. More kits coming very soon, including dual deploy, 38 mounts, minimum diameter, Wildman FWFG VonKarman nosecone upgrades, and much more. Check back often at www.macperformancerocketry.com

Pro-Tec Recovery Products
Be sure to check out our new line of chute and harness protectors. Stop burning up those FR treated fabrics. Our Pro-Tec products are made from 100% Aramid/Kevlar Ripstop fabric and all edges are sewn with Kevlar thread.

Mike, what are the actual diameters of the 54mm tube? And to think that I thought I knew what my next order from you would be...

The ID is 2.150 and the OD is 2.275. Full length tubes are 57" long. All the building components will be added to the website by the end of the week for the scratch builders.

Make my Scorpion a dual deploy with 38mm motor tube and FWFG nose cone. Motor tube long enough for 6 grain CTI case. Will set up to fly G's with a chute release, or electronic DD when I want to bring rain. A poster for a versatile rocket

The FWFG cones will be here next week and I'll get it put together. The stretched Scorpion and Zodiac with 38 mounts and dual deploy will also be available by next week. I like that.......when I want to bring rain!

Thanks Joe!

Thanks Mike. I like that this tubing is real close to BT-70H is size (just slightly larger); BT-70 is one of my favorite sizes to work with. A lot of the BT-70H nose cones should fit fairly well.

I really like the idea of flying a 38 mm Zodiac with a JLCR, but a tracker may also be necessary. Are you developing nosecone bay kits for the new FWFG nosecones?

Interesting that you bring this up, since I was just sketching out how I will configure a DD ARCAS HV when it becomes available.

I came up with a concept similar to the PML Intelli-Cone, with a 38-54 centering ring sanded down to fit into the shoulder of the cone. The CR would have a cable threaded through a hole and extending down past the bottoms of the shoulder for shock cord attachment. This would allow me to install a 38mm tube which would be long enough to house my edge mount RTx and extend a couple of inches into the payload tube. A simple plug held in place with set screws would protect the electronics from hot gas.

Of course, an off-the-shelf solution from Mike would be even better!

Cheers,
Michael

38mm bay kits for the 54 pinnacle are already done. The 38mm kits for the FWFG will be available some time next week.

I keep wanting to inject requests into this thread, but before I do I see you've done it already.
