URRG August Family Picnic & Rocket Launch; Aug 27th – 28th.

The Family Picnic will be on Saturday August 27th
The Club will be providing Hots, Hamburgers, & Chicken.
All those attending are asked to bring a “dish to pass”.

Mike Dutch is in charge of Organizing and running the Picnic. Please contact him directly via email: [email protected] to let him know that you are coming, how many will be in your party , and what your “dish to pass” will be.

We are looking for side dishes, salads, chips, pretzels, & desserts. There will also be other Items needed like paper plates, cups, utensils, napkins, paper towels, maybe some extra tables, and a couple grills, and some cooking/grilling helpers.

Dutch will keep track of all who is coming and what they are bringing so the club knows how much meat to purchase for the Picnic.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you there.

I'll be there. I need to get a test flight in on my TRF design contest build before Labor Day, but I'm also hoping to get several other good flights in. I'll have to make a trip up to Hobby Lobby to pick up some F15 motors...

A little bird told me that the food tents are set up and they were out cutting the corn today sounds like we are going to be enjoying some great flying food and friends. Looking forward to this weekend ill be there in the morning. Sounds like flying conditions are going to be great cant wait to see you all tomorrow.

Ted we missed you. It was a great day the corn is down, the weather was great, food unreal and we had a busy day with lots of great flights. If you have the URRG to get something up before school starts this weekend is the time. Three new members joined and we saw a lot of new faces some from far away.

Rick Kick ass job on the micro rail set up. We set it up this weekend very easy the machine work is second to none. The club now has a great mini and micro rail system that everyone can enjoy. I love it. So many requests for this and you made it happen. It was a busy rack great call for the club.
