Upgrade to a glass nosecone and stick a tracker in there. You'll be able to find which tree or high tension wire it landed in! Kurt

My typical minimum diameter build has been JB Weld roots, modest fillets with colloidal silica, then a 6oz fiberglass tape job over that. It has been plenty for my flights so far, will see if and when it fails me.

I was definitely concerned gluing into slots instead of on the surface but the first two felt real solid, so I might try it on my 75mm build.
