Now my question is how absurdly FAST can you burn propellant in a CTI case.... something comparable to Warp-9. I know there's Vmax, but I'd love to see something faster. :)

Vmax in a star or Finocyl grain configuration could achieve that. It would be limited to short motors and would probably have low volumetric loading.

Here is an (old) example of a super fast motor. Yes, it does say F675 !

WHY CAN'T I LOAD PICTURES ?

I'd like to see a high thrust 75-1G reload. Maybe white thunder or C*. Would be good for flying 4" fiberglass rockets at sod farms or confined launch areas.

If wish lists is a thing, than if like more C* in the 54mm cases. But my number 1 item, the J94 with 4-8 less Ns so it can be an I instead of J (yes I am L2).

On the subject of wish lists, any chance a 29mm 6XL mellow or blue is possible?

On a slightly different note, any chance someone can explain the difference between the I216 and J285 that causes the longer burn and lower impulse on the I216? Just wondering as they appear to have the same propellent weight. I have an I216 I'll be flying in a few weeks, can't wait!

If I had to guess, the reason would probably be nozzle size.

The I216 might have a larger nozzle compared to the J285 even though the propellant weights of the 2 motors are the same. That would probably explain the lower impulse and longer burn time.

The CTI Classic propellant seems to have a lot of different burn times. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it's slow, and sometimes it's right in be middle. My guess is that while yes, they are both classic in the same case, they are probably two different versions of the classic propellant. If you look at the C* propellant in the 75mm lineup, you'll notice that there is C* (fast) and C* (slow), my guess is that's the same thing happening here.

I am still dreaming of a VERY long 54mm motor. Like the old Kosdon L3000. I still have a rocket waiting for such a beast.

I know it's not CTI, but take a look at the Loki L2050. It's a 4' long 54mm 80% L

That is definitely an attractive motor. Loki is not sold in Canada though. Also, that would require another hardware purchase if I were to fly in the US. It's not out of the question but hard to justify.

Yeah that is the downside, extra hardware. On top of that, it's also almost the cost of an L3. Definitely more than I'd like to spend on L2, but also a motor I want to put in the smallest possible rocket.

We are doing a Funk Saucer drag race at Tripoli Las Vegas Oktoberfest in a couple of weeks with I55-MY .

Will hopefully have some good pics and video to share .. 6 fliers so far for 7.2 seconds of Saucer terror at dusk..

not sure if it's in here already but a nose cone for thin wall 29mm would be nice...

Seriously? I have no reason to doubt a man with real numbers, but given what I see in the field I am definitely surprised.

I'm not saying they don't sell, but compared to everything else, they trickle. Maybe it is different in other parts of the country too, though I don't remember seeing a bunch at airfest either.

I don't see many vmax flights posted here on the forum. However, with the clubs I fly with, vmax is popular for lifting heavy rockets inexpensively.

I've never done the numbers but for high power flights there is a good portion. Maybe 10-15%
