I am looking for one or two flyers that would be interested in doing a manufacturer's demo flight with the TelemetryPro Tracking System (aka "Kate") at the MDRA Red Glare XVII launch on April 10-12. I am most interested in flights over 10,000 feet that use dual deployment recovery. Ideally, the flyer should also have a fairly well proven record of success. Details about the system are on the Multitronix website.

If interested or if you have questions, please contact me via PM here on TRF or via the contact page on the Multitronix website. Thanks!

I am still looking for one or two flyers that would be willing to do a manufacturer's demo flight with the TelemetryPro Tracking System (aka "Kate") at the MDRA Red Glare XVII launch on April 10-12. Ideally something at least in the 5,000-10,000 foot range using dual deployment recovery on a rocket that has successfully flown to that altitude before. Information about the system is available on the Multitronix website.

Contact me via PM here on TRF or via the contact page on the Multitronix website. Thanks!

How about LDRS?

Yes, I am willing to consider proposals for demo flights at LDRS as well. However, I have already arranged a few demo flights at LDRS and I suspect there will be some customers that fly their own units too. Consequently, right now it is not clear how many more demo flights will be needed. On the other hand, I would be especially interested in any big showcase projects. Contact me privately if you are interested. PM me here on TRF or use the contact page on the Multitronix website. Thanks!

Vern,

Ill be flying my unit at LDRS. I was wondering and heard that the one I have may need to get a software update. If this is true should I get it accomplished before LDRS? I probably won't use it till LDRS and then at Balls this year.

Hi Bill,

Updating to the new firmware is not required but it is recommended. Since I will be at LDRS it would be most convenient to update your unit then. Most of the new firmware features being released are for the receiver. They include being able to record all flight data and Kate audio in the receiver. The receiver can also now display the location of the rocket in real time on a map. There is also an important update to the transmitter you may want since it prevents anyone else accidently linking to it. A number of other improvements have been added. Especially for flights above 150K. I expect to release the new firmware this month after some flight testing on it.

Awesome, probably be easier to just do it at LDRS. Thanks!
