I didn't - I'm not sure how one would bevel the rounded leading edge uniformly...

Oh yeah, I see it now in one of the pictures.
I gave it a try on mine, it turned out pretty well, at least for my first time working with fiberglass. I used a belt sander, but it was definitely tricky.

External fillets applied:

Usually I do two at a time, but this time I did them all at once (letting the epoxy sit a little before applying it. I think they came out pretty good. It won't take too much filler and sanding to get them perfect.

All the structural work is done. Now it's just finishing... Yay.....ugh.

Nice looking Fillets, is that proline?

Today I sanded the fillets on the Mini... They are by no means perfect, but there good enough that I'm not going to bother with filler.

It's been below freezing here for the last several days, but there is a warm spell coming so I'm hoping to get the Mini painted!:)

Got the mini painted:

Other then a small paint run on the NC I'm quite pleased with how it came out. I don't think it'll need a 2nd coat.

Using some brush on silver paint, I added a faux metal tip to the NC. I also applied the checkered fin decals. I held off adding the remaining decals as I'm going to buy a DD kit for it during Wildman's sale. :)

Thanks!

I got to thinking. The Wildman DD upgrade extends the rocket by 8". I cut an 8" piece of 38mm cardboard tube and coupled it to the booster just to see and spaced out the remaining decals. It turns out the separation point is exactly in between the words "shifter" and "mini" which actually works out really well as I can fly it in SD mode and still have the decals make sense. They'll just say "Shape Shifter" without the "mini".

So I added one of the wraps and part of the name decal.

It looks pretty good. Once I get the DD upgrade I'll just have to add the other wrap and the "Mini".

So until I get the DD kit, the mini is done! :)
