Would many people be interested in a professionally-printed book of photos from NARAM-50? I'm thinking that those of us who took pictures at NARAM would contribute photos for the book, while retaining any copyrights to the photos themselves.

I've been looking at www.lulu.com, a self-publishing service. Actor/writer/blogger Wil Wheaton's (https://wilwheaton.typepad.com/wwdnbackup/) most recent book is being published via Lulu, and he has nothing but the highest of praise for them.

Hardcover books would cost on the order of $25, and paperback books would cost around $20. Price doesn't vary with the quantity of books printed, and it looks like the hardcover could have up to 120 pages, and the paperback up to 250 pages, for the same price.

So, would you be interested in buying such a book, and would you be interested in contributing photos to be published in it?

Chris Taylor had a book of his NARAMlive pictures made on Lulu. I don't know if he ever offered it up for ordering by anyone else, or if it was just a one-off to see how it looked. He was showing it around at NARAM 49 and it looked really nice. IIRC it was coffee-table book sized, and he said it would be ~50-60 bucks.

Cool! That's the sort of thing I had in mind, though maybe not quite coffee-table-book sized. I should contact Chris.
