So I live right on Lake Michigan and want to listen to maritime radio channels with my SDR. What frequencies might be in use? Thanks!

I worked for years at sea in many oceans around the world, have my "Able Seaman" training and certification, have sailed the Drake Passage multiple times, have passed through the Panama Canal, etc., etc............

................but I have virtually no knowledge/experience with maritime radio.

So, apologies, but I'm of no use to you on this.

9 years in the Navy. I wasn't a radioman so I'm of no help, either. Did spend considerable time in the Blue Water.
