Well, ef I cood smell it wood hav bin funny...

The "little buldge" looks like it may have a gladular condition.

You might want to check out the Starfleet Museum Fan-Fiction page. Your rocket looks like a Bison frieghter or maybe one of the Conqueror class ships shown there.
