i've been using 1/8" MDF core with a birch veneer for making fins and things and wanted to get TRF's thoughts.
Advantage
it's usually more consistently flat than regular plywood, it's not always perfectly flat but much better than the typical 3 ply 1/8" plywood.
Disadvantage
A bit more expensive and a bit heavier
Unknown
strength and stiffness difference between it and regular plywood
Anyone else use this material and have opinions on it?
