"USPS Delivery Problem" Text Scam

Since I got one of these this morning and it's not a specific TRF threat, I thought I'd post it as a new thread.
The weasels are getting more creative...
This may already be common knowledge, but it's new to me. (I'm used to "Chase Manhattan Account" and "Amazon Excessive Billing" phishing attempts, already.)

I got an automated call "from FedEx". It blabbered on for more than 3 seconds, so I hung up. Package was delivered next day. I'll never know what the robot was saying.

I get these all the time. I look at who the email is addressed to. So many times it’s not even me, or if it is me it also has a few hundred other names attached to it.
The next items I look at is spelling and syntax. Non English speakers often don’t get it right.
If I have doubts I don’t click the link but type in the URL manually.
I’ve had them from FEDEX, UPS, USPS, so many from Amazon and FakeBook. (I’ve never had a FakeBook account!)
Now I don’t even look, I just delete them. The FakeBook notices I set a rule to just permanently delete before arrival in my IN box.

Haven't gotten a spam notice from USPS, yet. However, I get them from Fedex and UPS sometimes.
