Okay... this is how I look at it: I'd like to scratch build about 4 or so nice, basic sport rockets. Then I'll move on to slightly more complex designs....

I'm looking for a "bag o' parts" Tubes and nose cones in particular. But I don't really want to pick and choose ala carte piece by piece.

I'm thinking BT50 to 80 size (max). Foam core or balsa fins.

Don't want to spend my money on the faceless Estes.

Any vendors got a bag o parts kit?

:)

Thanks!!

Karl

I haven't come across tubes and cones in the same package in a while.
But here's some of the last few bulk parts packs I've purchased-

(BT assortment, couplers at the bottom)

BT Extravaganza
At one time, Cowboy had a the Rustlers Ranch Assortment that was incredible!
We need to petition Art to bring that back!

HTH!

I bought my last assortment of tubes from Jonrocket. Very good deal for an assortment pack of tubes. Wish it had some BT70's in the assortment, but it's still a great value. Even if the BT70's were purchased as a seperate line item, it is still a good deal. The tubes very sturdy and of excellent quality. I highly recommend them.

or you can buy an assortment of tube and other materials,(no nosecones or transitions) directly from Totally Tubular, or possibly get the same tube selection for a little more money from BMS along with some of his EXCELLANT turnings. BMS and ASP both stock Totally Tubular tubes:)

Red Arrow Hobbies has a good scratch building kit. Doesn't include nosecones however. Several people I know have bought this assortment and been very pleased with it.

Doesn't BMS have a Nose Cone sampler? Used to contain a number of popular Estes-style nose cones.
