This is was done by a group associated with a Youtube channel that often does edgy stuff with pyrotechnics and uses extremely expensive high end cameras to capture the dynamics of these things..
 
I know a fellow that did this stuff professionally for ejection seats, automobile and aircraft crash testing, and so forth. You wonder how on earth you can capture images at that speed - one thing he told me, "You need a lot of light!"
