Ah, you've found Deep Blue, I see. There is a lot of interesting stuff there, including scans of some of my source material for Rockets of the World (I was given paper copies by a Michigan Professr emeritus back around 1990. There are more Thermosphere Probe flights to find on that site. If I am not mistaken, there may even be an Aerobee 300 or two in the collection.
 
I should add that I once (circa 1990) had a look at (but couldn't copy) some photos of those Nike-Tomahawks in the files at the U of M. They had the same basic color scheme below the payload of our favorite Nike-Tomahawks you've seen in color. The payloads are unfinished metal--silver with no trick colored anodization.
