News just broke that Steve Albini has died from a heart attack. He has recorded and engineered thousands of albums during his career ranging from undergrounds acts, many early indie and alternative albums from the late 80s to early 90s, and Jimmy Page. I like albums he worked on for his style of recording an album like you're in the room with the band and not relying on a ton of effects that aren't recreated on stage. He'll be missed.
