After many years of being on hiatus, I'm back to launching rockets. I grew up flying rockets with my dad, and then, like so many others, I fell out of it with college and getting started in the job world. Before life pulled me away, I mainly flew low/mid power rockets with some L1. I've been flying some small stuff with my nephews lately to get them into the hobby and then mid-power for my own enjoyment. Now, I'm finally making the move back to high power. I have a LOC Warlock kit that I plan to build and use to reup my L1 certification. Might use the same rocket for my L2, or build something else tbd. Building is almost as much fun as flying them for me. The one major change between then and now is that I'm moving toward RMS motors instead of single use. Last thing I need to do is get hooked up with the local clubs in the Houston area. They seem to be the closest to me.
