Ok I have a question about fin span measurement for a 3 fin rocket.
If I have a rocket that has 3 fins and each fin has a semi span of 3 inches and the airframe has a 2 inch diameter.
I know that fin span is measured from fin tip to fin tip. So would I treat the 3 fins like a 4 fin rocket to get the fin span ?
Let me know if this is correct for a 3 fin rocket that has a fin semi-span of 3 inches and a airframe of 2 inches in diameter.
2 x 3 = 6 +2 = 8 so the 3 fin rocket would have a fin span of 8 inches . Is this correct ?
