Weather permitting, the next MCMC launch in Hopkinsville KY will be this Saturday 18 February. More information on the MCMC web page. Waiver is 10k, though a 12k window may be available with prior approval. Likewise any flight that may exceed 8k requires prior approval. The site is within the Fort Campbell military alert area, so we have to be strict about altitudes.
I've contacted the local TV station (WPSD) but have not yet received a response as to whether they may show up to do some filming. Still hoping.
