Hello,

I prepared an H motor for a launch event however it has been canceled for several weeks due to bad weather. Now I forgot which rocket I was going to fly it in (which would use different delays). Is there an easy way to confirm how much delay I removed?

Measure the depth of the hole you drilled. 1/32" = 1 second.

Lay a ruler across the top of the delay, slide something small like a dull pencil or flattened toothpick down to the bottom of the part you drilled. Squeeze the two together, lift off and measure how much is extended past the edge of the ruler.

If you have a caliper, they usually have a piece that slides out the back when you open the jaws. That's what it's for, measure the depth of holes.

When I drill one, I usually put a piece of masking tape on the side with the delay.

Not a perfect solution, but what I do.
