Scott, the list of manufacturers is short, but you have, um... a lot of kits from some manufacturers, and a few multiples of some kits.Originally posted by rokitflite
Surprisingly short compared to the overall number of kits. Of what I remember:
Estes
Centuri
Apogee
AVI
MPC
MRC
MRI
FSI
Canaroc
Roto-Roc
Cox
Semroc
Quest
Vashon
Oh yeah... And Rokitflite

In the past 20 years I've built exactly one kit rocket -- an Estes Argosy that my wife gave me about 15 years ago. I upgraded it with waferglass fins, kevlar shock cord, etc. and painted it metallic blue since blue is her favorite color. I also have an Estes Saturn V, still in the box. That was another gift; don't know if I'll ever build it.
Besides the fact that I rarely fly anything other than camera rockets, I'm just too creative to stick with kits. I'd much rather build my own designs. The last two non-camera rockets I built were odd-rocs.
However, I'm planning to buy one of those Flis Tri-Glides because it's so much fun, and also simple to prep. Eventually I'll probably end up hanging the gliders off the side of a camera rocket just to see what happens.

Now, this is a major "feel good" The fact that you've only built *one* kit in the past 20 years and that your second kit will be one of ours
Yea a vid of those separating would be nice from the rockets point of view What would have *really* been cool would be to have you launch one of your video rockets above the 100 mass Tri-Glide launch at Plaster
