I see a mix of photos for the MGR-1A (M31) and MGR-1B (M50) variants when searching for "Honest John", but I can't find any plans for the latter. Note that the biggest change is the smaller fins, but it's also a bit shorter overall AFAICT.

The big triangular fins are the 1A and the clipped delta are the 1B. Note that there's also the 1C ("Little John"), but that doesn't have the distinctive flared nose that is so characteristic of this series.

Anyone have plans of the 1B? I can find plans of the 1A on the web and Peter Alway posted plans of the 1C here some time ago, so those are readily available.

For those who stumble on this thread:
  • 1A plans by Stine, attached
  • 1C (TRF photos and plans thread)
I will not post the 1B plans since the book that has them is still in print (according to kurinin).

Yep, The booklet (14 US Army Missiles of the Cold War) with the M-50 Honest John is still in print, according to the author. I believe ASP, ARA press, and eRockets all have them in stock. My best single source was an old issue of the NAR magazine, I believe from the 1980's.
