After reviewing a number of L3 design packages on the web, i've seen both epoxy and JBWeld used for securing motor mounts / centering rings etc...

Is either one superior over the other, or is it simply a matter of preference?

Thanks
Dan

JB-Weld is more heat-resistant, but I doubt that you need it except for the motor retainer. Epoxy is a lot cheaper, which is why most people use it. Also, JB-Weld has to cure overnight, while epoxy cures in a few hours (depending on the hardener). You could use JB-Kwik, but it is half as strong and has half the maximum temperature of JB-Weld.
