In hopes of increasing the dynamic stability of an Estes Star Orbiter when flying on extremely large motors, I’ve been working on increasing the area of the fin set in the .rkt file. So far I’ve been doing this by running each x and y coordinate through my calculator, multiplying them by the conversion factor that I want, and then copy-pasting the result back into RockSim.

But with the copy-paste functions acting weird on my machine and sometimes causing me to paste the incorrect data, and the undo functions being almost useless for the purposes of putting things back to how they’re supposed to be, I can’t help but wonder if there’s a simpler way to do this that I’m missing.

Use the "Scale All Points" feature.
Open the Rocksim file, click Rocket Design Components.
Click Fin set.
New window opens.
Click Plan points tab
Click Scale All Points icon (small square ovrlapping big square with an arrow)
Enter the scale factor, press OK
Close window, answer yes to save changes.
Voila. your fins are upscaled.
