IMG_20190625_131329710.jpg I wanted something that was a bit steampunk, a bit 1950's sci fi and created the Draken. Using the silver comet nose cone with cockpit, turned out quite well. Painted cone and forward body, with trim vinyl accents and tail art. for the rivet detail I cut 1/8" holes using my leather punch into a strip of .03 styrene every 1/4" and then used it as a guide on the body and wings and used my sharpie to do little circles, adds a lot and only took 45 minutes to do. 32" long, 25" wingspan, 2.6" diameter, using E-6 24mm motors and 10.5 ounces ready to fly with motor.

Here's the flight today.

I like the simple smooth lines, sometimes less is more.

Really straight boost, little swirl at the end, not sure if it was intentional.
