Just saw this,
A fun thing I think y'all might enjoy.

I wanted to let you all know that there is a Bones action figure hanging out on the Surgeon’s sign in NASA Johnson’s current Mission Control Center.
For context, there is a doctor on shift at all times in mission control in order to assist with any medical emergencies that may arise in space (primarily with the International Space Station at the moment) and I think also monitor the health of those in space.
I nearly burst into tears when I noticed it. I wish De was around to see the impact he has had even now.

Original post has an update;

Update: you can see him in the background of a recent instagram post by the NASA Johnson account. Looks like he’ll be around to usher us into the Artemis generation!!!!

Oh, I didn't expect the forum post would reproduce the full Tumblr post.
