LOL, three weeks ago I had a B rocket glider soar around the field for a couple of minutes before what looked like a piloted approach, homing in on the launch pad and sliding just a few feet past it. I like not having to walk for RG's. My once in a lifetime launch was when I was 12-13 yrs old, launched an X-ray on a B4-4, and the base of the rocket hit the top of the launch rod on landing.

I had an Apogee II (2stage) as a kid. One launch with my Dad we never saw staging, we easily tracked the sustainer and recovered it 75 feet from pad. Spent 10 minutes looking everywhere on the ground for the booster.

Wait for it.

Wait for it.

It was still ON the pad.
