Here's a presentation done in English for a symposium a few years back. It details the Chinese Long March rockets and the new generation of launch vehicles they intend to develop. Note the "greener" references in the study (which is basically a summary verbatim of the slides from the presentation) about "non-polluting propellants" meaning non-hypergolics-- NTO/UDMH are pretty nasty chemicals when released... besides, LOX/RP-1 has the best fuel density and theoretical ISP combination for booster rockets, while hydrogen/oxygen is still superior for upper stages due to the highest theoretical ISP available in chemical propulsion.

Pics to follow.

Enjoy! OL JR :)

Lunar Orbiting Exploration phase of the program, organizational/support chart... (MAN do they have a lot to learn about byzantine organizational/support/management functions! With such a simplistic organization, they might ACTUALLY get something done besides being stuck in a morass of red tape! shocking!)

Interesting photo on the final slide of the presentation... spacecraft in the right corner look familiar?? It's an American Apollo! LOL:) Now the Chinese won't be cloning Apollo to go to the moon, they already have plans to upgrade their Shenzhou to do that... perhaps the "lets work together for mutual benefits" is an invitation for the US to join them when we finally quit trying to make "Apollo on steroids" and simply go back to doing a modern duplicate of Apollo and actually get back to going anywhere again... LOL:) Maybe in a back-door sort of way (the invitation)... hehehe...

Finally the China Aerospace crest, which they put on their rockets along with the PRC flag...
