I made an Excel sheet to calculate altitude based upon the formulas found on this site: https://my.execpc.com/~culp/rockets/rckt_eqn.html#Method

I know they are rough (not like RockSim or OpenRocket), but was looking for something that puts it in the "ball park".

The yellow fields are filled out by the user, and the light blue fields are look-ups from the motors on another sheet.

Does this pass the "smell test"?

I can run a check, but it won't be in the next couple days
(don't know if that would help, or if you are on a schedule)

I appreciate the help! I'm under no time deadlines, I am just trying to understand the math and that the equations and processes used are basically sound. Kind of a "First Sim" type of tool.

I attached it, if you care to take a gander.

BTW, the sheet on the launch rod velocity is still a work in progress, and I'm not sure if that is correct at all.
