carbon fiber plate from McMaster-Carr

I am in the design phase of a carbon fiber 38mm MD rocket and am looking at options for fin material. I found some 1/16" thick rigid carbon fiber sheet/plate from McMaster-Carr that looks pretty good on their website.
Has anyone here used this material before? I'm wondering just how stiff/strong it is. Are there any other places to get similar material? One good thing about McMaster-Carr is that I can go there and actually check out the stuff before I purchase it.
What are your thoughts?
